Jack & John

Like I said yesterday, I got a new dress for my recital that's in a couple days. I went to the factory outlets at 204 and went to Maurices. Everything there was way too expensive, so I decided to try Dressbarn to see if there was anything cheaper. I was a little upset because everything was actually the same price. I found a couple dresses I liked because there was a 'buy 2 dresses, get 10 dollars off' sale going on. I tried them on, and only liked one of them. As I'm getting ready to leave the dressing room, my grandmother brings me this hideous dress. I didn't even know this store HAD hideous dresses! Almost everything I'd found was cute...I think she did it on purpose. Anyways, she brought it to me and asked if I liked it. I didn't want to be mean, so I said yes & tried it on...not thinking she'd make me come out of the dressing room in it. I felt like a 10 year old who's parents make them show them their clothes on before they buy them!

Well, I finally decided on the first dress, hurt her feelings a tiny bit (sorry grandma), and went searching for more. I found some more, but none that I wanted, so we went to check out. As we're in line, I found an owl ring! (remember, I am in love with owls right now) I wanted it so very badly, but I didn't see the point in paying $12 for it. Cato sells rings for like $5. (That's where I work) I can't find a picture of the ring, but I found one kind of like it. The pictured one looks a little cheaper though...

Goodness, I loved it. I kept looking around and I found these SUPER cute owl earrings. The picture I took isn't the greatest, but they're bronze with lime green/yellow, baby blue, royal blue, and black on them. I wanted to name them...because they're father necklace is named Pete Feathers, but Kaleb didn't like my name. (Pete Feathers Juniors) So he named them Jack and John Feathers. :) They were $10 and well worth it. :)

P.S. I'm quitting my job at the church. I'm so stressed out by that job. That's all.

Tybee

I have missed going to the beach whenever I want. Last year, I was free to go whenever I felt like it. Now, I live 2 hours away from any beach. I've gotten so ready to come back to Savannah for spring break and go to Tybee. When I got there today - just like usual - I was ready to leave within an hour. Not only was it excessively windy, but it's still St. Patty's Day weekend in Savannah, and there were a ton of people...on the non-crowded end of the beach!

Tomorrow is basically the last day of my break, I don't know when we're leaving to go back, but I'll be back in V-town  by tomorrow night! Sunday, of course, is church, so I have to be back Saturday night so I can be there and sing on Sunday morning. Dorms don't open til Sunday at 10am. That's really dumb if you ask me. 

I was at Walmart today, and I heard this lady on the phone behind me complaining about how Savannah was taken over by drunk people. Seriously? She was decked out in green, traveled here from somewhere else, and you're going to complain about it? DON'T COME HERE THEN....just sayin'.

I've been practicing for my Wednesday recital. It's next week. I'm absolutely terrified. I'm sure I can't be the absolute worst, so I guess I'll get over it. :)

I'm going to go watch some more Grey's Anatomy! I'm halfway through season 4 now! I just can't wait to finish 5, 6, & 7. lol I wanna start on 8! Oh well. I'll get there eventually. :) Good night!

Best Day of My Life

No, that's a lie. Actually - I'm terrified of getting a lecture & being yelled at. I got sick this weekend, and I missed church (where I get paid to sing in the choir) and I also missed my rehearsal for school choir. We have a concert tomorrow and I feel like I'm going to get yelled at in about 30 minutes when I go to class.
Also, I can't find my music folder. I'm not really sure how this class is going to pan out...

I have dance later on though - So maybe that class will be better :)

I'm still feeling awful, but a tinyyyyy bit better. I'm trying to suck down some hot drinks so I can fix my throat. I can't NOT sing today...we have a concert tomorrow! We'll see how this works out as well...haha

Jordan's asleep and I'm just trying to be quiet, so that's why I'm blogging. I think Toddlers and Tiaras is on, so that's what I'm watching. Hunger is setting in...but I'm on a diet, so I'm trying not to think about that either!

I WILL do laundry tonight...no, that's a lie. I'll probably do it on Wednesday or something.
I just found out I have to stay here for Spring Break. FML. I don't have the money to drive home. hahaha. I'll be alright though. Okay - I'm gonna put some eye makeup on & attempt to look like a person who's not at all sick. :P


***EDIT: My day got better...we got our TBΣ pins :) We crossed December 3, 2010. We JUST got them! (along with our membership cards of course) YAY, We're actual members now. :) hahaha
