A lot of things have been going on lately! I've been working really hard on my new diet and exercise, and its been kind of stressful because I'm really not losing as much as I wanted to. On this diet, the guy who designed it said you were only supposed to walk 20-30 min a day depending on what 'phase' you're in, but that just doesn't cut it for me. I walked for 20 minutes for like...2 days. After that, my goal was just to go a mile (don't judge...I haven't exercised in a while). Eventually, I started jogging, and I moved up to a mile and a half.
I've also been watching the Biggest Loser and it has really gotten me motivated. So much that today, I ran a mile as fast as I could just to see what my time was. (I really just wanted to beat Tracey from Season 8's time...I don't like her, ha!) I ended up beating her time, and I was very happy! I know now how long it takes me to run a mile (and like I said before, no details included ;)) and I can go from there.
I also mentioned that I haven't been losing as much weight as I had expected. I expected to lose 2 pounds a week since that's what Mr. Dukan said would happen, but I'm realizing that its not gonna happen for me. The past week I've been doubling or tripling my exercise, and I have been the same weight for like a week. Its AWFUL. But, on the upside, I have lost 3 1/2 inches around my waist and 1 around my hips. That's GOT to be something...my clothes are actually beginning to fit a little looser. :)
Anyways, just for ANNE, that was my kind of sorta not really another teasing kinda blog. ;)
